Work starts October 7, 2026. GrizzlyTrek is hiring Skilled Labourers for a pond liner project at Candle Lake, Saskatchewan. You are paid $28 per hour plus a living out allowance (LOA) of $60 per day, and accommodations are provided. Work starts October 7, 2026. Pay $28.00 per hour Living Out Allowance $60 per day (LOA) Accommodations Provided Start Date October 7, 2026 Location Candle Lake, Saskatchewan Position Type Project based. This position is tied to this pond liner project. Work Pond liner installation and skilled labour support The Site This is a pond liner installation at Candle Lake in north central Saskatchewan. The crew prepares the pond floor and slopes, lays out and installs the liner, and finishes the edges and anchoring. As a skilled labourer you support the install crew on the ground, from prep work through to the final tie in. Accommodations are arranged for you, so you can focus on the work. What You'll Do Prepare the pond area by hand: rake and trim subgrade and remove rocks, roots and debris that could damage the liner Unroll, position and spread liner panels with the crew Assist the installer with seaming and liner connections as directed Dig, backfill and tamp anchor trenches and secure the liner edges Move and stage liner, material, tools and equipment around the site Keep work areas, access routes and laydown areas clean and clear Take part in tailgate meetings and follow site safety procedures What You Bring Construction or general site labour experience Able to start on October 7, 2026 Physically able to work outdoors in all weather and to lift, carry, bend and kneel through a full shift Able to take direction and work safely as part of a crew Your own safety boots and basic PPE (hard hat, hi vis, safety glasses, gloves) Nice to Have Pond liner, geomembrane or HDPE liner experience, including seaming or welding support Earthworks, reclamation or civil site experience Safety tickets such as CSTS or Standard First Aid and CPR Work Environment Outdoor work in Saskatchewan fall weather, including cold, wind and wet conditions Repeated lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling and standing for the full shift Work on uneven ground, on slopes and around an open pond excavation Work in and around operating equipment on site Why Labourers Take This Job Your housing is covered and you get a $60 per day living out allowance plus $28 per hour, so working away from home does not come out of your pocket. The work is hands on and the start date is October 7. Labourers who show up ready and work safe are the ones we call first for the next project. Pay is a gross hourly rate before deductions.
