About the role Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Technician will oversee cash operations, execute bank reconciliations, and process customer receipts. This role requires a candidate who can navigate complex ERP environments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Direct daily cash functions and monitor liquidity positions. Complete regular bank reconciliations and resolve any found variances. Record and allocate customer remittances precisely within the ERP system. Generate counter sales invoices while maintaining thorough supporting files. Apply revenue recognition principles in line with corporate and accounting standards. Draft and post essential journal entries for the monthly closing process. Maintain detailed GL schedules and audit trails for period-end reviews. Assist with audit requirements and address inquiries regarding account balances. Partner with internal departments to streamline workflows and resolve financial discrepancies. #P1 What we're looking for: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a large-scale ERP environment. Proven proficiency in reconciliations, revenue recognition, and month-end procedures. Advanced Excel capabilities and a high degree of precision. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform both independently and collaboratively. Technical familiarity with SAP or Oracle Financial modules beneficial Understanding of IFRS or local GAAP frameworks for revenue. Previous engagement with corporate treasury or cash management functions.
