More details: See us on LinkedIn at Aquatech Canadian Water Services Job Description Operator Main Responsibilities Working under the guidance of the supervisor, you're responsible for conducting the daily operation and maintenance of the Water & Wastewater facilities. This position will report to the area Operations Manager. The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilities Provide operational support & troubleshooting for plant operations Maintain required inventory and inventory control of critical spare parts, chemicals, & consumables Create maintenance requests Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required Perform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor Perform laboratory analysis and reporting Preparation weekly, monthly, annual reports as required Provide training and mentorship to plant operational staff Participate in required meetings (in-person & remotely) Participate, enforce, and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety program Hours of Work 2 options: WTP: 10/4 days rotation (10 days on at 8 h/d, 4 days off). WWTP: week no1 from Monday to Friday (8 h/d) AND week no2 from Monday to Saturday (M to F 6 h/d + Saturday 12 h/d including 4 hr as OT). Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience + 2 years Current WTP 1 and/or WWT 1 + WWC (proof of certification is required); Ability to lift 25 kg (55lb); Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge; Ability to work under pressure quickly and efficiently; Excellent problem solving skills; Strong independent worker and team player; Good communication skills, both written and verbal; Proven ability to supervise and communicate with staff members; Positive attitude Additional Information How to Apply?
