Job summary

The operator is responsible for utilizing forklift machinery to load and unload products while ensuring safe handling and compliance with health and safety regulations. They must also manage assigned tasks, complete orders to meet customer requirements, and implement special projects as needed.

Under the supervision of Warehouse Supervisor, the Operator will be responsible, resourceful, and attentive person who behaves professionally; committed to the interests and profitability of the company. Ensures to meet the requirements of the position in compliance with health and safety rules. Responsibilities: * Follow through with assigned tasks * Ability to utilize forklift machine to load and off load products on pallets * objectives * Ad-here to health and safety procedures and regulations * Takes charge of the implementation of any special project * Ensure safe product handling * Ensure compliance with customer requirements * Ensure completion of orders to meet customer delivery requirements Requirements: * 2-5 years of experience in a similar position * High school diploma * Intermediate computer skills * Forklift and/or reach, order picker, skyjack certified * Working knowledge of Robert's systems (Yard smart, Manhattan, Acuterm, etc...) * First Aid Certified * Ability to recognize and address safety concerns * Sense of priority management * Punctual, meticulous, and takes Initiative * Excellent physical condition * Team spirit and resourceful * Ability to stand for a long period of time * Knowledge of controlled goods (an asset)
