Position: 5-Ton Driver (Q Endorsement) Location: Edmonton North Contract: Temporary Schedule: 40 hours/week (4 x 10-hour shifts - Start Time: 6:30 AM) Salary: $23.65/hour + Rush Premium $3/h About us: Groupe Touchette is Canada's largest tire distributor. With over 45 years of experience and 40 distribution centers across several provinces, we are now the market leader. Your role: As a Delivery Driver within our group, your responsibilities will include loading, transporting and delivering tires to customers, ensuring that deadlines and safety standards are met. * Responsible for loading and transporting a mix of passenger and commercial tires, rims, and wheel accessories. * Operating a heavy vehicle and handling commercial freight, familiarity with DOT compliance, vehicle inspections, load securement, and safe transportation practices is essential; * Driving a 5-Ton truck; * Delivering tires (up to 70 lbs) and completing delivery documents. What we are looking for: * Holding a valid driving license (Class G or Class 5) with Valid Q endorsement ; * Strong understanding of DOT rules and regulations; * Experience operating heavy vehicles safely and in compliance with transportation requirements * Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs; * Safety boots required; * Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
