We are looking for an Intern that is eager to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural business while developing essential customer service and operational skills. This role offers exposure to multiple facets of our business, including logistics, inventory management, and client interaction, preparing you for a future career in agribusiness. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business, building foundational skills for a future career in agribusiness. Learn how products move through the supply chain, from order processing to delivery, while supporting documentation, invoicing, and inventory reconciliation. Develop strong customer service and communication skills by working with customers and team members to answer questions, process orders, and ensure accurate information flow. Build proficiency in office systems and administrative functions, including Microsoft Office, data entry, record management, reporting, and file maintenance. Expand your knowledge of fertilizers, crop protection products, seed products, and grain operations through exposure to daily business activities. Gain experience with ordering, receiving, inventory control, and product quality processes, including blending and inventory management activities. Participate in all Exploring Agriculture Internship Program activities and networking opportunities, including weekly reports. Professional Development: Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing your experience, growth, and career goals. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Must be currently enrolled in a related college or university program, and be returning to school in the Fall. Must have a valid G driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record. Must possess a valid passport and any required visas to travel to the United States and be able to travel independently. Mandatory attendance at the Exploring Agriculture Conference in Bloomington, IL, May 17-18, 2027 (plus possibly the day before and after, as necessary for travel.)
