Job summary

Climb and service utility-scale wind turbines across an offshore array, performing scheduled gearbox inspections, blade pitch calibration, yaw drive lubrication, and hydraulic brake maintenance at height. You will troubleshoot pitch and converter faults from the nacelle, torque foundation bolts to specification, replace worn slip rings and filters, and document every work order in the asset management system. Day to day the role mixes planned preventive maintenance with unplanned call-outs when the SCADA system flags an alarm, and you will coordinate lifts and isolations with the control room before any work begins. GWO Working at Heights and Sea Survival certification, rope-access proficiency, offshore medical clearance, and genuine comfort working ninety meters above open water in changing weather are required.
