The GTA Mavericks are a non-profit organization that offers a unique experience for kids learning basketball, whatever their age or experience level may be. Our activities go beyond simply just exercising and practicing, we teach kids how to exercise and practice effectively so that they can make use of the skills they have learned in other places. We teach kids both how to foster their individual skills, with drills, practices and exercises and also, importantly, how to work well in a team setting.

The coach will develop practice plans and game strategies to improve player skill sets and technical fundamentals. They are also responsible for monitoring student-athlete progress and maintaining a positive, disciplined team environment.
