The apprentice will inspect, service, maintain, and repair heavy commercial vehicles, including electric trucks and vans. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and performing MOT preparations under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Trainees will learn to operate Class 1 (C+E) LGVs and handle transport and logistics operations. Responsibilities include performing vehicle safety checks, route planning, and supporting regional distribution.

The apprentice will learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including servicing, MOT preparation, and electrical diagnostics. They will balance full-time work in a garage workshop with block release training at a training center.

Maintain, service, and repair a fleet of waste collection vehicles including HGVs and LGVs. Diagnose vehicle faults and work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while following safety protocols.
