Job details
Company Description Gwendolyn.ai is an AI-first company that provides outcome-focused AI workers rather than traditional installed software. Customers request results, and Gwendolyn.ai orchestrates AI engines, tools, memory, workflows, approvals, and integrated systems to deliver the required work or solutions. The platform is built to handle complex tasks end-to-end, from design and development through implementation. Team members collaborate on cutting-edge AI capabilities that enhance automation, reliability, and scalability for clients. Working at Gwendolyn.ai offers the opportunity to shape how organizations adopt and rely on intelligent AI workers. Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for implementing and integrating Gwendolyn.ai solutions directly within client environments. In this role, you work closely with customers to understand their requirements, design technical architectures, and build back-end services that connect AI engines, tools, and workflows. You will develop and maintain robust APIs, data pipelines, and integration layers that enable seamless communication between client systems and Gwendolyn.ai’s platform. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, scalable code, debugging and optimizing existing implementations, and collaborating with product, AI, and customer success teams to deliver reliable, outcome-driven solutions. You will also help improve deployment processes, document solutions, and contribute feedback to shape new features and capabilities. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems concepts. Experience with Software Development and Programming in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or similar). Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices in designing maintainable, modular code. Comfort working directly with customers, translating business needs into technical solutions, and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD practices for deploying and monitoring services. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, APIs, or tools is a plus, as is experience integrating third-party services and APIs. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
