Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre is located in central Canmore. We are seeking a Full-time Room Attendant. We don't have an approved LMIA for this position. The position is available for applicants with a valid work status in Canada & We can support Francophone Mobility program We are a busy 164-room hotel and conference centre located in Canmore, Alberta. Objective: · To be responsible for keeping hotel rooms and other guest spaces clean, sanitary, and attractive to ensure that guests enjoy their stay To provide ultimate cleanliness to guest rooms and follow all health and safety guidelines Duties and Responsibilities: · Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry · Complete 14 room per shift · Support and assist housekeeping team in tasks, duties and scheduling required to maintain successful operational departments · Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers · Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office · Support and participate our hotel’s recycling program · Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment · Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties · Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE · Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff · Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper procedures Education and Qualifications · Interpersonal & communication skills · Ability to work independently · Motivated self-starter with initiative. · Excellent communication skills, written and spoken · Organized with time management skills · Resourceful and creative with the ability to work well under pressure and in changing situations. · High attention to detail Benefits: Health care benefits (after 3 months of employment) Discounted staff meals Gym, Pool, Hot tub access Company events during the summer Discount card for Shops of Canmore On-site parking Summer Bonus
