About This Opportunity We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven General Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team reporting to our Senior Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate has experience with ERP systems, procurement, payables systems, the General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations and thrives in a fast-paced, scaling AI software/technology environment. This role will play a critical part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, travel & expense, cash management, prepaids, and accruals, while helping to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency. This is a temporary role with the potential to convert to full-time employment. What You Will Do Support the accounts payable process, including invoice entry, approval workflows, and timely payments using systems, such as Bill.com. Support the travel & expense process in Navan, helping to enforce our travel and expense policies, and perform the reconciliations for the associated Navan liability accounts in ERP systems. Manage cash activity, including uploading bank statements, cash match and bank reconciliations. Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts related to accounts payable and cash. Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with 1099 reporting. Partner with internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Sales, FP&A, People Ops) to ensure accurate classification of expenses and timely processing of invoices. Contribute to cash management and forecasting with timely data management. Help implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting best practices. Assist with financial audits and compliance initiatives as required. Identify and support automation opportunities and system improvements to scale accounting operations. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry. Experience in ERP systems, such as NetSuite, SAP S/4Hana (Cloud), Campfire, Rillet and procure-to-pay systems, such as Bill.com or Ramp. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and a solid understanding of core accounting principles Advanced Excel skills (such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and comfort with cloud-based financial tools. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment. How to Stand Out From the Crowd Experience with multi-entity or international operations. CPA or CPA-track is a plus. Experience with financial automation or ERP optimization projects.
