Job summary
The OT/PT functions as an integral member of the interprofessional healthcare team at the JH. They provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services to patients. Working collaboratively with team members, they apply clinical expertise to maximize patients' functional independence, facilitate recovery, and support safe discharge and community reintegration. 1. Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 2. Current knowledge and experience in the management of surgical patients 3. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills 4. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team 5. Minimum 6 months recent orthopedic experience preferred 6. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation course in CPR or equivalent preferred

Requirements
