RESPONSIBILITIES Of The HR Assistant Hiring of Staff: placing ads, screening of candidates, setting up interviews, manage offer process, reference checks. Assist with Onboarding Procedures, welcome email, New Employee Packages, coordinate with safety officer onboarding procedure, employee handbook. Manage environment for new employees (location, desk, phone, computer, chair, passwords, stationary, safety equipment). Create training schedules, maintain company wide Training Records. Support HR Manager with HR related duties and projects. Skills Required 1 to 2 yrs. of Canadian HR experience. Written and Spoken English. Good communication skills. Attention to detail. People first attitude. Knowledge of Employment Standards Act.
