What You'll Do As a valued member of our Dining Services team, you will: * Provide friendly, professional table service to community members during meal times. * Take food and beverage orders and ensure meals are served accurately and promptly. * Set up and prepare the dining room before each service. * Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment. * Assist with washing dishes, cutlery, and dining service equipment as needed. * Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. * Support catering events, celebrations, and themed activities throughout the community. * Follow all provincial regulations, food safety standards, and Harbour Hill policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned to support the dining services team. What We're Looking For * Valid *SMART Serve Certification*. * Previous experience in food service is an asset. * Experience working with older adults or in a retirement community is considered an asset. * Outstanding customer service and communication skills. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a team. * Ability to lift and carry hot or heavy items safely and remain standing and walking for the majority of each shift. * A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors.
