Role Description The Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Langford, BC. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the selection of new and used vehicles. The Sales Representative conducts test drives, explains vehicle features and benefits, and presents financing and warranty options in a clear, customer-focused manner. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, managing leads and follow-ups, preparing sales documentation, and using dealership systems to track inventory and customer interactions. The role also involves collaborating with finance, service, and parts teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience and building long-term relationships that support repeat and referral business. Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to actively listen, ask effective questions, and provide tailored solutions. Sales and negotiation skills, including experience meeting targets, handling objections, and closing deals in a competitive environment. Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain product features, pricing, and financing options in accessible language. Basic financial and computer literacy, including comfort with CRM systems, online inventory tools, and understanding of loan and payment structures. Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and to manage multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced showroom environment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and confidence conducting safe, professional test drives. Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer-facing roles is an asset but not strictly required; willingness to learn and participate in training is essential. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
