Repair, fabricate, and maintain structural and non-structural plant equipment, including welding repairs, while following equipment-specific lockout and safety procedures. Inspect equipment and work areas, manage maintenance supplies and tools, report emissions and leaks, and assist plant personnel and mill service vehicles as needed.
On-site · Whitby
Operate off-road heavy mobile equipment, including loaders, material handlers, lugger trucks, water trucks, and potentially screening equipment, in a steel mill environment. Complete equipment inspections and activity reports, coordinate with supervisors and customers, and follow production schedules and safety requirements.

Support maintenance activities in the shop by diagnosing and repairing equipment failures and performing routine services. Maintain a clean and safe working environment while assisting with general site-related maintenance.
