Architectural Project Manager

This firm operates across various sectors including multifamily residential, commercial and hospitality and has offices across Canada. They are seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Calgary. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a firm recognized for its creative approach, use of cutting-edge technology and design methodologies. *this is a hybrid role Key Responsibilities: Oversee and guide all aspects of project delivery, from defining deliverables and setting schedules to managing budgets and ensuring each phase stays on track. Create and manage detailed work plans for both architectural and engineering teams, assigning resources and monitoring progress to keep projects moving forward. Lead multidisciplinary teams in upholding rigorous quality standards, especially for construction documents and technical specifications. Stay closely attuned to the project’s scope, proactively addressing changes by negotiating solutions that align with client goals and contractual requirements. Facilitate collaboration with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to resolve construction challenges and document key decisions. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, building strong relationships and ensuring open, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program. 7+ years of direct project management experience, preferably in multifamily residential (wood frame mid-rise, low-rise/ townhomes) projects Solid understanding project accounting, strategic development, business development, project management and client management. Well-versed in local building codes and municipal bylaws. Proficient in leading project delivery and collaboration using industry-standard PM platforms, including Procore and Newforma. The successful candidate will receive a compensation package of $90K-110K (dependent on experience), health & dental benefits, 3 weeks vacation and hybrid.

Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors to ensure quality standards and project scope are maintained.

Requires a degree in Architecture or a Technical program with over 7 years of project management experience, specifically in multifamily residential projects. Proficiency in Procore, Newforma, and a strong understanding of local building codes are essential.
