Job summary
Role: Business System Analyst Location: Toronto, ON Type: Contract Rate: CAD55/hr - CAD65/hr Job Description: Analyze and define user needs and translate them into system requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents. Work with the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization. Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation. Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation. Conduct Business Acceptance testing Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation. This includes the occasional night/weekend implementation for business validation Must Have Skills: 5+ years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst. Business acceptance testing. Skilled in test planning/execution and understanding the outcomes. Experience with technology and the ability to self-learn software. Knowledge of relevant business, processes, systems, and capabilities. Good understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements. Comfortable leveraging AI tools Proficient with Excel Soft Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work and demonstrate cooperation in a matrixed team environment. Comfortable with data requirements and related data activities Strong interpersonal / relationship building skills with technical and business personnel. Good multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills. Comfortable working in ambiguous environments. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in supporting customer facing operations is an asset. Bilingual French/English is an asset. Knowledge of financial services industry is an asset. Knowledge of Group Benefits and Group Medical Underwriting is an asset.
