Property Accountant Contract: 3 months to permanent Rate: $40–$45/hour Location: Toronto, Ontario (on site) About the job A leading global commercial real estate firm is seeking a Leasing Admin / Accountant to support a complex portfolio. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role focused on lease accounting, reconciliations, and lease interpretation, partnering closely with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze commercial lease agreements Manage year-end reconciliations (CAM, tax, operating expenses) Support financial reporting and variance analysis Maintain and validate lease data in internal systems (SAP/Oracle) Collaborate with internal teams on discrepancies and reporting What We’re Looking For: 3+ years commercial lease administration experience Strong background in lease accounting, reconciliations, and AR Accounting foundation (education or hands-on) Experience with systems like SAP or Oracle Strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills The Opportunity: High-impact role supporting a portfolio of 400 sites (equivalent is full-cycle exposure to 150-250 tenants) Competitive compensation (approx. $85K–$90K+ annually) 3-month contract into permanent hire Start ASAP, with flexible hours (8–4 or 9–5)
