Your new role As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the leasing performance of our residential rental properties across Victoria. Acting as the primary contact for prospective residents, you will conduct property tours, nurture leads, maintain ongoing communication with applicants, and oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry through to move-in. Duties include: Conduct suite tours and showcase property features and amenities to prospective residents. Follow up with leads, answer questions, and support applicants throughout the leasing process. Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries via phone, email, and other channels. Explain leasing requirements, deposits, insurance obligations, and move-in procedures. Prepare and coordinate lease agreements, addendums, and related documentation. Process rental applications, including screening, credit checks, and reference verification. Maintain accurate leasing records and resident files. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day leasing operations. What you'll need to succeed 1+ years of leasing, rental housing, or property management experience, ideally within a large-scale residential portfolio or newly developed community. Strong leasing and sales acumen with a track record of building applicant pipelines and supporting occupancy goals. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach. Experience using Yardi or similar property management software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with onsite and corporate teams. Experience from a customer service or hospitality background will also be considered.
