Purchasing Manager Regina, Saskatchewan In-office 5 days. $95,000 - $110,000 ( negotiable based on experience ) Our client is a recognized manufacturer, distributor and equipment solutions provider serving a range of industries. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for steel, aluminum and manufactured components, while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved. This role leads supplier selection, qualification, contract negotiations, RFQ/RFP processes and the management of subcontract manufacturers and external processing partners. The Purchasing Manager monitors commodity markets, manages supplier performance and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders. You will maintain and analyze spend data to determine strategic long-term sourcing approaches based on financial impact. The ideal candidate must have experience in purchasing metals, especially steel and aluminum within a manufacturing or a project environment. You must have strong knowledge of direct material procurement and commodity-based sourcing. Experience negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships and overseeing external manufacturing or processing partners is essential. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for the overall sourcing strategy for metals, therefore having solid experience in this area is a necessity. This posting is for an existing vacancy with the organization.
