Salesforce Technical Architect Job Type: Contract (3 months) Rate: $55-60/hour Location: Remote Your New Company Our client is a nationally recognized, mission-driven organization undergoing significant digital transformation. They are investing heavily in their Salesforce ecosystem and are seeking a strategic Salesforce Technical Architect to help shape and evolve enterprise-wide Salesforce solutions that support critical business initiatives. Your New Role As the Salesforce Technical Architect, you will serve as the technical owner of the Salesforce platform, driving architecture decisions, solution design, governance, and best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, administrators, and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. This is a leadership role that combines architecture, stakeholder management, technical mentoring, and hands-on solution oversight. You will be responsible for establishing architectural standards, reviewing technical designs, supporting integrations, driving platform modernization initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple Salesforce workstreams. A major focus of this role will be leveraging Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud capabilities to support the organization's evolving operational and stakeholder engagement objectives. What You'll Need to Succeed 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience. 3-5 years of experience operating as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Architect. Strong experience designing and implementing solutions within Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud. Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, governance, security models, and data architecture. Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce declarative capabilities. Experience designing complex integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms. Experience establishing architectural standards, conducting code and design reviews, and mentoring technical teams. Experience working within Agile delivery environments and leading cross-functional teams. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps processes, release management, and deployment governance. Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect are strongly preferred.
