Your new role As a Senior Electronics Manufacturing Operator, you will play a key role on the production floor, supporting manufacturing operations while ensuring products meet IPC and customer quality standards. You will serve as a technical resource for team members, assist with troubleshooting manufacturing challenges, support new product introductions (NPI), and help maintain the highest workmanship standards. Key responsibilities include: SMT component placement and assembly Fine-pitch and microelectronics assembly Class 3 hand soldering, rework, and repair Through-hole assembly Inspection under microscopes Identification of soldering and workmanship defects Reviewing assembly drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation Supporting First Article Inspections and non-conformance reporting Assisting with process improvements and root cause investigations Mentoring and supporting junior operators What you'll need to succeed 8-15 years of electronics manufacturing experience Strong background in SMT and manual assembly operations Experience manufacturing IPC Class 3 products IPC-A-610 CIS certification preferred J-STD-001 CIS certification preferred Previous experience supporting engineering teams during NPI activities Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation and quality requirements Experience working in ESD-controlled environments Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Highly desirable skills include: J-STD-001 Space Addendum certification Wire bonding, die attach, or microelectronics assembly Conformal coating AOI inspection Selective soldering ERP/MES systems experience (Infor Visual preferred) Lean Manufacturing experience Cleanroom manufacturing experience What you'll get in return Opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace, defense, medical, and space technologies Collaborative, quality-focused environment Exposure to advanced microelectronics manufacturing processes Career growth and development opportunities Chance to mentor and share expertise with developing team members What you need to do now If you're an experienced electronics manufacturing professional looking to join a high-performance team producing mission-critical electronic assemblies, apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion about this opportunity.
