SAP Basis Senior Product Specialist

Job description: Job Summary Expectation: · Demonstrates the ability to lead the team effectively , manage SEV calls and manage client discussions independently during EST time. · Takes ownership of technical activities, ensuring all tasks are tracked, managed, and driven to successful closure. · Capable of leading technical discussions, providing solution guidance, and engaging with stakeholders on technical matters. · Manages effort estimations, project planning, and prioritization of future work items. · Ensures timely and quality delivery of assigned tasks while proactively mitigating risks and addressing dependencies. · Drives execution through effective coordination, tracking progress, and maintaining accountability across the team. SAP BASIS Have strong exposure in SAP BASIS – ECC 7.4 with Oracle database. Operating system – Oracle Linux Can lead SAP basis and security team of 5 members . Have strong customer facing experience Should be able to track and plan all Incidents / Request tasks, System upgrades , PGP and SSH keys, Vulnerability remediation, System refresh and support activities Key Responsibilities 1. Plan, execute, and oversee the upgrade and migration of sap basis to s/4hana, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, define project scope, and develop migration strategies. 3. Perform system assessments, conduct risk analysis, and implement best practices to enhance system performance. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to sap basis and s/4hana, ensuring system reliability. 5. Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system configurations. 6. Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on sap basis functionality and best practices. Skill Requirements 1. Proficiency in sap basis administration and s/4hana migration techniques. 2. Strong knowledge of sap system architecture, database management, and performance optimization. 3. Experience in managing sap basis upgrades, patches, and system installations. 4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to sap basis and s/4hana. 5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams. 6. Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor sap basis upgrade projects efficiently. Other Requirements 1.SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP S/4HANA (If any).

Lead the SAP Basis and security team in managing technical activities, including S/4HANA migrations and system upgrades. Oversee incident tracking, vulnerability remediation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure high system reliability and performance.

Requires strong expertise in SAP Basis, ECC 7.4, Oracle Linux, and S/4HANA migration techniques. Candidates should have leadership experience managing small teams and a preference for SAP Certified Technology Associate certification.
