The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) • Emergency Nursing Certificate Other Education and Training • Nursing diploma is acceptable • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Other Information • For more information on the town of Shellbrook please visit http://www.townofshellbrook.ca/ • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS • May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives • Shellbrook is located approximately 45 km west of Prince Albert
