Location: Irving, TX Pay Rate: $32.00 – $53.00 per hour (based on experience) + Shift Differential Bonus Potential: Up to $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external candidates (2+ years RN experience) | Relocation assistance available (50+ miles) Schedule: Permanent Full-Time | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent night shift position in Irving, TX. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and infants through high-stakes labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery. Monitor, interpret, and document fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs, initiating appropriate interventions immediately as needed. Collaborate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal maternal-fetal outcomes. Educate patients and family members on the labor process, delivery options, and early postnatal/newborn care. Support and advocate for a unit-wide culture of safety, maintaining meticulous and compliant EHR documentation. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN). Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or Compact State). Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of L&D or Antepartum RN experience (Level II or higher facility experience preferred). Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Specialized Training: AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required within 30 days of hire/transfer). Requirements
