Pay: $1,440.13 / week Location: Buffalo Center, IA Shift: Day Shift (Flexible) Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Travel Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) opportunity in Buffalo Center, IA. In this role, you will provide person-centered care, administer daily treatments, and manage chronic conditions for residents in a collaborative skilled nursing environment. Key Responsibilities * Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track resident responses in the EHR. * Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and treatments per care plans. * Assess changes in resident conditions and communicate promptly with physicians, RNs, and family members. * Collaborate with CNAs and therapists to assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation programs. * Maintain strict safety protocols and precise clinical documentation. Requirements * Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. * Licensure: Active Iowa LPN license or a valid compact/multistate LPN license. * Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification. * Experience: 1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. * Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Preferred Qualifications * Prior travel nursing experience. * Background in specialized wound care or palliative care principles.
