The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing, validating, and dispensing medications for both inpatients and outpatients while maintaining automation systems. They also perform medication history documentation and ensure department work areas meet safety and regulatory standards. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program and hold registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. A minimum of two years of recent experience in pharmacy practice is required, along with a successful vulnerable sector check.
