Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable. The cook is responsible for the organization, production, and distribution of food and beverages within the health centre. They must be available for various shifts, including short notice calls, weekends, and holidays.

Applicants must hold a Journeyperson Cook certificate or a Health Care Cook Certificate. A valid driver's license and a criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search are also required.
