Position #: 187690 Expected Start Date: October 25, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Jim Pattison Children's Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Hematology Oncology Program Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 25, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of the Provincial Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of care and ensuring continuity of care for the pediatric patient with hematology/oncology and related complex chronic health disorders. Assisting the patient and family to coordinate and access timely and appropriate care through the health care system as efficiently as possible is a key aspect of this position. The incumbent will develop and foster relationships with other health care providers including community partners and agencies to gain familiarity with and mobilize resources for the patient and family.
