This is accomplished by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unit orientation, in-servicing and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. Incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from the unit manager(s) of Nursing.
