This is accomplished by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unit orientation, in-servicing and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. Incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from the unit manager(s) of Nursing. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). The role requires at least 3 years of clinical experience and 1 year of experience in adult education.
