These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Social Worker, BSW reports directly to the Supervisor of Adult Community Services or his/her designate. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies * Intermediate - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities * A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients * Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning * Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure * Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility * Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions * Ability to competently use computers and software applications * Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team * Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills * Ability to report client information in accordance with professional standards * Ability to work under stress * Ability to prioritize work * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and be registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW). A valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment are also required.
