Respiratory therapists plan and implement therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for patients with cardiac and pulmonary disorders under physician supervision. They provide mechanical ventilatory support and assist with various breathing tests in the pulmonary function laboratory. Candidates must hold a current certification of registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario. A Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps training certificate is also required.

Requirements
