Concrete Quality Control Technician (Temporary)

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 4-5 months. What You'll Be Doing * Perform quality control testing on raw materials, aggregates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications * Collect, prepare, and analyze samples using standardized testing methods and equipment * Record, interpret, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner * Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support continuous improvement * Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and cleanliness to ensure reliable testing conditions What Are We Looking For * Demonstrated ability to follow testing procedures and maintain accurate documentation * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency * Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams * Comfort working with testing equipment, data entry systems, and basic analysis tools * Adaptability and problem solving skills in a fast paced, hands on environment Conditions of Employment * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. * Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Work Environment * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
