Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Career Counsellor to guide clients in achieving their professional goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals navigate career transitions, improve employability, and succeed in competitive job markets. This role involves one-on-one counselling, career planning, resume and interview coaching, and ongoing client performance tracking. Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions (virtual and/or in person) Assess clients’ skills, strengths, interests, and career goals Develop personalized career action plans Provide resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn optimization guidance Conduct mock interviews and provide structured feedback Analyze interview performance and identify improvement areas Track client progress and maintain documentation Stay updated on job market trends and hiring practices Support clients in career transitions, job search strategies, and salary negotiation Collaborate with internal teams to improve client success rates Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field Strong understanding of hiring processes across industries Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide constructive feedback with empathy Strong organizational and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Certification in Career Development (e.g., CCDP, GCDF, or similar) Experience with ATS systems and recruitment platforms Knowledge of global job markets Experience working with international clients Key Competencies Empathy and emotional intelligence Analytical thinking Client relationship management Interview coaching expertise Goal-oriented mindset Accountability and follow-through Performance Metrics Client interview success rate Client satisfaction score Offer conversion rate Timely completion of action plans Client retention rate Work Structure Remote Flexible schedule Performance-based incentives available Compensation offered: $17 base hourly + $500 per successful client. In this role, we assign you 50-60 clients at a given time and expect you are able to make at least 4 or 5 of them succeed in their journey. On average, we expect you with commission to double or more your base.
