Job summary

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors Process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of goods and services Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast needs Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures Track and report on procurement performance metrics (cost savings, supplier performance) Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends Collaborate with finance and operations teams for budget alignment Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with ERP or procurement systems Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Skills Knowledge of strategic sourcing and vendor management Experience with contract management Familiarity with cost analysis and budgeting Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an asset
