Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to work in our Langley facility. As a Project Coordinator, you will be involved in all phases during a project’s life span, including bid and estimating, analysis of project contract and specifications, risk analysis, engineering design, construction management, site supervision, quality control and project turnover to the clients. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Project Managers in the drafting of project proposals and tenders. Coordinate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in a detail-oriented manner. Prepare site pre-construction documentation, including quality control and safety documentation. Prepare and submit any required RFIs on material or project. Assist Project Managers in management of the sub-trades. Monitor and submit project hours/estimates and perform cost analysis. Assist in the performance and progress of the project, including costs, and quality control. Prepare change order management, progress reports, and update established project schedules, budget, and estimates. Perform site visits to monitor that specific processes and procedures are being performed correctly and efficiently. Work with Site Superintendents/Foremen to ensure deliveries are coordinated and expedited. Process changes to contractual agreements, including communication with foreman and ensure documentation updates. Attend coordination and progress meetings. Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, third party contacts, consultants, engineers and subtrade partners. Coordinate and ensure submittal of project close out documentation. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: A degree in civil engineering or equivalent. Construction/Drilling industry experience preferred. Willing to drive to multiple job sites around Lower Mainland. Ability to learn and work under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager or Project Managers. Solid relationship with trade partners across the city. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in working with Microsoft Office. Strong communication and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to read blueprints. Navigate technical documents relevant to the work. Knowledge of varying provincial legislation pertaining to the work. PMP or CAPM designation advantageous. Compensation: CAD 70,000-90,000 (per year)
