Job Description: Regional Sales Managers are skilled professionals who work as ambassadors that will establish and maintain good relationships with our customers based on their assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites. Primarily responsible for account retention, account growth, identifying prospects, following up on leads, maximizing sales opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and constantly seeking new opportunities to drive business growth. This role offers a competitive commission plan in addition to the base salary. Travel: This role involves extensive travel, including overnight stays and travel to various locations. Travel is expected to be 50% of the time Responsibilities Retain current accounts and develop potential accounts into customers. Become the preferred supplier by developing value added service programs for our customers. Offer professional, effective, and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns. Handle customer concerns effectively and resolve customer complaints. Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Collaborate with internal departments (i.e. inside sales, purchasing, technical, etc). Develop effective sales strategy and identify opportunities to improve sales performance. Conduct market and industry research, monitor competitor activities. Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, internal training, and other efforts. Provide feedback necessary for future product and service development. Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation. Provide call reports and itineraries to National Sales Manager weekly. Provide sales reports to National Sales Manager monthly. Provide a budget outlining anticipated sales and margin by province to National Sales Manager annually. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required for business needs Qualifications College degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications is preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. 5 years of direct work experience as Field Sales, Key Account Manager, Branch Manager or Inside Sales in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment.
