The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality traps that meet the demands of the industry. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes: * Competitive wage depending on experience * Generous RRSP matching program 5% (after one year) * Full health and dental benefits (shared costs) * Great schedule-Monday to Friday 8-5 * Personal & Professional Development Opportunities * Fun & engaging working environment * Free parking Key Responsibilities * Help plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget. * Building and assembling lobster traps. * Work productively to achieve performance targets. * Monitor production performance and implement improvements for productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. * Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality regulations, and company policies. * Manage resources, including raw materials, machinery, and production area. * Coordinate weekly transfers of inventory and materials between locations. * Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies. * Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch. * Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and inventory logs. Qualifications * Experience in marine gear fabrication or trap production. * Operate power tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. * Experience with shipping and receiving * Able to work independently, and in a team environment. * Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. * Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). * Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
