What you’ll do

Prepare and lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry units for veneers, residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces, and decorative installations. Cut masonry materials to specifications, work at heights, install prefabricated units, and instruct apprentices.

Requirements

Requires five or more years of experience and a trade certificate or equivalent experience, along with Bricklayer Trade Certification. The role also requires safety credentials including an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection training, as well as a valid driver's licence and the ability to perform physically demanding work.
