What we offer? * Leaders who invest in your success and your development daily. * Competitive salaries linked to performance and hybrid working hours (depending on responsibilities) * A comprehensive group insurance plan and a very competitive pension plan * Support for the payment of contributions to the professional order or relevant certifications & Trainings * Funding for additional technical, linguistic, and behavioral training relevant to the role and development. * Free access to a virtual doctor and the employee assistance program (24/7) * Social activities for all employees (BBQ, Golf, Christmas parties, etc.) and unlimited hot drinks! * Generous referral bonuses and advantageous recognition programs * A motivating work environment and a human management style where you can make a difference Main responsibilities: * Prepare corporate income tax returns for Canadian entities and support the review process; * Assist with the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns and forms for U.S. and European entities; * Prepare R&D tax credit claims in both Canada and the U.S.; * Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual tax provisions, related journal entries, and continuity schedules; * Prepare tax files in the context of internal and external audits for group companies; * Work closely with the internal professional team to prepare various required tax forms and calculations for an internationally active group, such as T106, T1134, surplus calculations, etc.; * Review and analyze information required to ensure federal and provincial income tax compliance; * Conduct tax research on various topics related to Canadian and international income taxes, indirect taxes, and taxable benefits; * Support the preparation of information and documentation required for tax audits conducted by tax authorities; * Assist corporate departments and business units by providing tax-related information, analyses, and documentation; * Participate in special projects, such as acquisitions and corporate reorganizations; * Contribute to due diligence projects related to business acquisitions or divestitures. Our ideal candidate: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA, CA designation * Master’s degree in Taxation or completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role * Experience in U.S. corporate taxation * Experience in Canadian and Québec corporate tax compliance * Familiarity with R&D tax credit claims * Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written * Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards related to income taxes * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Taxprep for Corporations * Occasional availability for international travel * Autonomous, detail-oriented, committed, and self-motivated * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset * Ability to meet deadlines and a high standard of professional ethics **In this role, we require knowledge of English due to the communications needed with our various suppliers, clients, auditors, and other subsidiaries of the organization that are international. Requirements
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA, CA designation, along with a Master’s degree in Taxation or completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course. A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate taxation, proficiency in Taxprep, and fluency in both English and French are required.
