Job summary
Client Processing Job Description: Client Processing - The Trade Processing and Settlements team facilitate the timely settlement of client trades and ensure that all pre and post settlement issues are resolved at the earliest opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality and completion of their own work, which involves dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including some phone interaction, problem resolution, transaction processing, and reconciliation. This is primarily an office-based role. However, some flexibility may be given to work from home one day per week if there is sufficient coverage across the team. Expectations: High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education is required. Previous experience in a financial services environment is preferred but not essential. Experience in Trade & Settlement processing preferred. Skills and Knowledge: MS Office, communication skills - both written and verbal, attention to detail, flexibility. Corporate Actions Job Description: Corporate Actions - Provides support in the execution of mandatory and voluntary corporate action-related custody processing, processing liability notices, processing and allocating dividend and interest payments. Primarily responsible for initiating, processing, and maintaining moderately voluntary and mandatory corporate actions and dividends. Ensures all relevant documentation and recordkeeping is maintained within event files. Aids, determining when the more complex problems should be referred to a supervisor or senior professional. No direct reports. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. High School/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in financial services processing and corporate actions preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. Flexible in shifts Basic knowledge of MS Office Onsite deployment 6 months term
