*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder specializing in commercial beam and joist to join our field construction team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding structural components for commercial structures, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction project with a focus on quality and safety. *Responsibilities* * Perform CWB SMAW welding processes to fabricate commercial structure components according to detailed blueprints and schematics * Read and interpret technical drawings, and assembly instructions accurately * Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of parts * Rigging materials and components for lifting or assembly using cranes or other rigging equipment * Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools to verify dimensions meet specifications * Assist with the assembly of decking structures, ensuring proper fitment and structural integrity * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times * Collaborate with team members on project timelines and technical challenges * Willing and able to occasionally work out of town jobs *Requirements* * CWB SMAW All Positions * Fall Protection Ticket * Elevated Work Platform ticket * Own reliable transportation * CSTS Certificate * Familiarity with blueprint reading * Ability to operate power tools and hand tools * Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Prior experience with schematics, assembly procedures, and manufacturing processes is preferred This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards.
