Job summary
Overview We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer with experience building scalable backend services and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, Snowflake, and modern data engineering practices. Responsibilities Design and develop backend services, APIs, and data applications. Build Snowflake-native solutions using Snowpark, Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures. Develop and maintain REST APIs with FastAPI. Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure. 5–7 years of software or data platform engineering experience. Strong Python, FastAPI, SQL, and Snowflake expertise. Experience with microservices, Docker, Git, and CI/CD. Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Fintech or financial services experience is an asset.
