Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician Level 2 to join our team. This position requires hands-on assembly of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components as per blueprints, assembly drawings, and procedure manuals. Operate pneumatic tools and machines for assembly tasks. Perform quality checks on finished products and troubleshoot minor machine issues. Accurately update job schedules and manufacturing status using computer systems. Conduct final assembly testing and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure quality standards are met. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety protocols and maintaining tools and equipment. Mentor and assist junior assembly technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, and prolonged standing. Adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping, attendance, and overtime requirements. Position Requirements Experience: 3-5 years in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic assembly or metal fabrication, or equivalent experience. Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and assembly instructions. Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to use basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Access) for reporting and schedule updates. Familiarity with pneumatic tools is an asset. Forklift certification is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Capable of standing, squatting, and bending for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and dexterity. Additional Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Positive attitude and a willingness to work overtime when required.
