We produce high-quality pool safety covers, industrial tarps, and other custom-fabricated products using specialized industrial sewing equipment. If you have experience operating industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing environment and take pride in producing quality work, we'd like to hear from you. *Candidates with strong industrial sewing experience will receive priority consideration.* We also welcome applications from individuals with transferable sewing experience who are eager to learn our products and processes. *Job Summary* The primary responsibility of this role is to manufacture high-quality safety covers and industrial products using a variety of industrial sewing machines while meeting production standards, quality expectations, and delivery deadlines. Successful operators are quality-focused, dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of maintaining consistent production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. *Key Responsibilities* *Production* * Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture pool safety covers, tarps, and related products. * Sew, join, reinforce, and finish large fabric assemblies using chain stitch, lock stitch, and overedge machines. * Read and follow production instructions and work orders. * Meet daily production and quality expectations. * Complete production documentation as required. * Perform routine machine care, including cleaning, changing needles, and notifying maintenance of equipment issues. *Quality* * Inspect work throughout production to ensure accuracy and consistency. * Maintain high standards of workmanship with minimal rework. * Identify material or equipment issues before they affect product quality. * Track production accurately. *Safety & Teamwork* * Follow all company policies and Occupational Health & Safety requirements. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Work cooperatively with supervisors and fellow team members. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications* *Preferred Experience* We are particularly interested in candidates with experience operating industrial sewing equipment, including: * PFAFF * JUKI * KANSAI * Chain stitch machines * Lock stitch machines * Walking foot machines * Overedge/serger machines Experience manufacturing products such as: * Industrial fabrics * Tarps * Pool covers * Awnings * Upholstery * Marine products * Tents * Canvas products will be considered a strong asset. *Required Skills* * Strong attention to detail * Excellent hand-eye coordination * Ability to maintain consistent quality while working efficiently * Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic *Working Conditions* * Manufacturing environment (100% plant-based) * Sitting for extended periods * Regular lifting up to 15 lbs * Frequent visual inspection of finished products * Mandatory overtime required during our busy season (September through November) *Compensation* *Competitive wages based on experience.* Applicants with demonstrated industrial sewing experience may qualify for a higher starting wage. *Job Type* This is a *seasonal position* with the opportunity to transition into a *permanent full-time role*.
