Role: Software Engineer - AI and Machine Learning (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Part-Time Payout: Competitive, based on experience Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer – C#(LLM Evaluation & Repository Validation) to work on a part-time basis. The project involves building LLM evaluation and training datasets to train models on realistic software engineering problems using verifiable SWE tasks based on public repository histories. This role focuses on hands-on engineering, repository validation, and evaluation of LLM performance in bug-fixing scenarios. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open-source libraries to assess feasibility for LLM evaluation. • Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup, for local testing and evaluation. • Evaluate unit test coverage and quality in real-world codebases to identify gaps relevant to LLM performance. • Modify and run codebases locally to assess how LLMs interact with real code in bug-fixing and development tasks. • Collaborate with researchers to design and identify repositories and issues that present meaningful challenges for LLMs. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of overall software engineering experience. • Strong proficiency in C# and ability to navigate complex codebases efficiently. • Experience with Git, Docker, and basic software pipeline setup for repository configuration and testing. • Hands-on experience running, modifying, and testing real-world open-source projects locally. • Ability to understand and evaluate unit test coverage and quality in existing codebases.
