Project Description Hiredbuddy is seeking an entry-level Data Engineer to join our remote team. You'll assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, ensure data quality, and support analytics initiatives. Ideal for recent graduates with foundational SQL and Python skills eager to grow in a collaborative environment. Full Description Hiredbuddy is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a remote, entry-level position perfect for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about building robust data infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to support the company's data-driven initiatives. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver high-quality data to downstream systems. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for writing efficient SQL queries, developing Python scripts for data processing, and orchestrating workflows using tools like Apache Airflow. You will also contribute to the maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability. As you grow, you will participate in code reviews, collaborate on data modeling decisions, and help optimize pipeline performance. We believe in a learning-first culture. We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn. A strong foundation in SQL and Python is essential, along with a basic understanding of data modeling and database concepts. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and tools like Airflow or dbt is a plus, but not required.
