This role is designed for students seeking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world engineering environment. Key Areas of Responsibility Contributes to the formalization of mission/function description, architectural & algorithms design. Document test procedures, automation scripts and test software code. Perform engineering testing, unit testing. Solves tasks in the best technical and timely manner. Looks for opportunities and make suggestions for improvements. Required Skills And Experience University student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field. Entry level analysis skills, able to diagnose issues. Able to handle assignments within a small to medium scale software application Knowledgeable of the software development processes Familiar with C, C++, and Python Able to quickly integrate with the team and work independently Knowledge of software development environment (Microsoft Visual Studio, desktop simulator, CI/CD etc.) Practical experience in using typical programs which are part of Microsoft Office Suite Practical experience with source control, IDE and requirements management tools. Knowledgeable of test automation, unit testing, and CI/CD. Able to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the internship. During the two weeks, the intern is expected to be at least two days per week. Preferred Qualifications Co-op student available for an 8- or 12-month term, with at least one quarter or semester of coursework remaining after completing the internship.
